Spring had arrived in such a blink of an eye that Tang Hong only realised the season had come when he followed his group leader out of the large building serving as their headquarters. The building's architecture embodied a rigid and minimalistic European-styling, but the parking lot was decorated with Japanese cherry trees, currently exploding in blossoms of red and green, filling the sky like clouds.
Alright, I have to be honest, too, though. Boss is the kind of guy that um... well, has a crappy personality and a horrible temper. Plus, apart from that pretty little face of his, there's not damn thing good about him. It's no surprise—at all—he got dumped, in all honesty. Hmph...
It's spring again. Oh, how time flew by.
That so-called mirage, that man, was standing about twenty steps ahead of and Hong and his group leader, donning a black suit over his medium build. His hair hair combed back to reveal a beautiful round forehead. His tall nose bridge and pretty lips were also on full display. And, lastly, above them were a pair of long and graceful eyebrows that perfectly framed a pair of deep and indifferent eyes that held both Yu Jiang and Tang Hong within their gaze. That man remained calm and composed, his hand then lifting to brush a stray hair from his face.

With a body like that, being a man like that. Why would that man run off to the ends of the earth? Wouldn't it be safer to just stay in the young and promising embrace of someone like the boss?
Tang Hong lifted his head to look at the large, majestic figure of the group leader walking before him, a sight that kindled the visage of another man in his heart. He still remembered everything that happened last autumn. Those tears, moans, and timid reactions, all of those memories mixed with the touch of their skin, were as vivid to him as if it had happened the day before, yet still feeling like a distant dream.
Lifting his head and touching his nose, Tang Hong luckily discovered no blood. His worries now gone, he took a glance ahead. Huh? Wait... are my eyes bugging out? ...no, it's not... it's not a mirage—it's real!
Ha... Tang Hong finally understood the situation before him. The shock from "A" who had run away from his group leader had already worn off, and Tang Hong's gaze had shifted to said group leader, then to that man, then again to "A". Which was when he understood perfectly the amazing situation unfolding before him.
His group leader glared hard at him for a moment, but he didn't blow up in a rage. All he did was bark out his order frigidly which Tang Hong quickly agreed to after his pardon was granted.
Oh, right. I still never found out his name.
As Tang Hong was preoccupied with his musings, the group leader, who strode ahead of him, suddenly came to a stop. Then, because he was not paying attention, he smacked into his group leader's back with an "ow." His face collided with that straight and solid back with a force strong enough to almost flatten his nose. Tang Hong hopped back, covering his sore nostrils because of the jolt of pain.
He lifted his head again to look at his group leader, who he saw exploding in anger at that man's escape, which still gives him the shivers to this day. Even now, when he saw his group leader appear much calmer, Tang Hong knew his heart was not completely at peace. Rumours were also spreading amongst the guys of the group that their boss had tasked them with keeping an eye out for a man. As for who that man could be, you ask? Well, even though Tang Hong was foolish and clumsy, he still wasn't an idiot, so he knew exactly who that man in question was.
Oh, right. I still never found out his name.
"A" hauled tail away from Boss, and now he was back—but he actually brought back his paramour proudly in tow...
CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT: Part One
What had always, though, was the reason for "A's" escape.
His eyes then naturally fell on "A" and that man behind him, both of whom were looking a his boss without one bit of guilt or fright. His eyes were not mistaken, that young "paramour" was even staring at his group leader provocatively with pride! That guy was indeed super handsome. He even seems much gentler in comparison to my violent and ruthless boss. No wonder "A" tossed Boss aside to go find this guy. *Sigh.* But now is not the time to be thinking about this! and like that, Tang Hong continued his retreat.
With a body like that, being a man like that. Why would that man run off to the ends of the earth? Wouldn't it be safer to just stay in the young and promising embrace of someone like the boss?
But Yu Jiang's motionless figure made Tang Hong's wails come to an abrupt and suspicious stop.

Why... He wondered as he walked away. Why don't I have the courage to resist that King of Hell boss of mine at all...

Oh my god! Tang Hong yelped. His nose was already not tall. This is the second time something like this happened now! Last time, I got smacked by the door! Good god! Boss... do you have some some grudge against my nose?
He lifted his head again to look at his group leader, who he saw exploding in anger at that man's escape, which still gives him the shivers to this day. He never got to do anything gang-related, instead, he had become an errand boy and a personal cook... He was a manservant! He was so lucky, wasn't he? The luckiest of them all!

But, unlike the statue that was Yu Jiang, Tang Hong freely allowed his jaw his drop in stupefaction. (And, if Meng Yun was right there to see it, he would undoubtedly ridicule him for acting really stupid again.)
When his hand lifted, an exquisite-looking pure gold cufflink caught Tang Hong's eyes.
But he had endured countless tornadoes—of a certain kind—for a good while now. So, at this instance, he knew well enough to begin his careful retreat. Quietly, without making a sound, he backed away like this to make sure his group leader didn't vent his anger on him. Fearing that man would turn around and toss him to some faraway region like Antarctica, where not a single man could be seen.

As he made his withdrawal, he also stole a glimpse of his group leader's expression from the side. That man's handsome features were already rock-hard like stone. His pretty black eyes seemed as though they were smiling, and so were his perfectly shaped lips. But... Tang Hong thought what else he saw was an illusion because he could swear he saw billows of smoke fuming from the top of his boss' head!

Ah! But! Tang Hong had only ever seen that man with a bloated and pregnant appearance. He had only seen that man's rough, pale skin exposed under a ragged and dirty nightgown. He had only seen that man's uncomfortable expression towards him—he had only heard that man's helpless moans while in his group leader's embrace. Tang Hong never knew... he never knew the original "A" was such a handsome and refined-looking man. He's... so handsome. The ladies walking by are all looking his way... or at that man standing protectively behind him... Hold up—a man?!
Ah!

Ah!
Tang Hong felt really miserable when he turned around to leave. He was a young man, one who thought studying was stupid since he was young. So he thought that he could enter the underworld and make a name for himself, but who could've guessed he'd run into a boss like his?! Just how lucky could he be!

Tang Hong only just realised there was a man standing behind "A", one who looked considerably younger. He was tall and handsome, his bearing making it clear he had a pretty decent status, too. And such a man was standing behind "A", just like a protector. His own deep and dark eyes locked directly on Tang Hong's group leader without showing the faintest sign of wavering.
With a body like that, being a man like that. Why would that man run off to the ends of the earth? Wouldn't it be safer to just stay in the young and promising embrace of someone like the boss?

"H-huh? Nothing, Boss! I-I-I... I w-was just watching the flowers!" Tang Hong stopped in his tracks, nervously looking at the cherry blossoms near him as if there was nothing wrong. He even managed to mutter, "Heheh, the cherry blossoms are still green... So pretty..."
Ugggh! Oh my freaking god! Tang Hong felt as though he was going to have a blood clot in his brain... He couldn't figure out if the world was simply changing too fast, or if his brain was simply too slow and stubborn to understand all this.
