"Are you up?"

Tang Hong was shocked and couldn't wrap his brain around the situation, and in his flurry, the officer then replied, "We also cannot conclude the motive for this incident, therefore, we hope you can assist us wherever possible Mr. Tang."

When Tang Hong walked over to his bed, he saw that the man really had awakened. The man, through hay eyes, upon realising he was completely naked while lying under the blanket before Tang Hong's gaze had his face immediately erupt in a blush. He did not respond to Tang Hong's question, but instead did his best to hide under Tang Hong's blanket to avoid his gaze.

Tang Hong felt a little uneasy, but he didn't waste time thinking much of it either. He just went on hurrying back to his apartment while praying his group leader hadn't come back yet.

iana: Lei Feng was a soldier and the poster child for "devoted model citizen" to Mao Zedong in the mid 20th century plus. Everybody was supposed to "learn from Comrade Lei Feng" and be a good upstanding citizen.

"Oh, then um... would you like something to drink?" Having just been involved in some intense love making, the man seemed to have lacked even the strength to lift his own body. Thus, with only the blanket acting as a barrier between them, Tang Hong helped the man lift his body upwards and positioned the cup to his lips.

Tang Hong, too, tried his best to act as if nothing had happened, again asking the man if he was awake with a smile. But the corners of his mouth were a bit stiff, causing him to lick his lips.

The officer then added, "We tested that blood and the results showed it did not belong to your maternal uncle. We also discovered the owner of the hotel and underground room was a man named Liu Wei."

"Mhm." The man replied without turning to face Tang Hong, but the blush on his on his face had spread all the way down to his neck.

Panic overtook him, so much so, the cup in his hand could not be held steadily. Spilling the warm water held within all over that man, and upon that singular blanket, the cup fell, while also causing both men to jump in shock.

Thus, with only the blanket acting as a barrier between them, Tang Hong helped the man lift his body upwards and positioned the cup to his lips.

Thank god! Back at his place he let out a relieved breath. Even though it was already dusk, his group leader really hadn't returned as yet. The only one there was that man in his care, sitting on the sofa while reading a book, who upon noticing Tang Hong's arrival, smiled kindly and greeted, "You're back."

N/A

He spoke in a whisper, and it was unclear why his face was covered in apprehension.

As he drank, from that man's body, Tang Hong could catch the scent of the expensive cologne his group leader normally uses, a scent which prompted him to envision the scene of this older man and his group leader going at it intensely before his own eyes. What's more, he had no way of suppressing such thoughts from taking root in his mind, so every bit of him was flustered beyond belief! Letting out a cough, he tried to will his thoughts away, but he caught sight of the man's tilted neck as he drunk the water held for him, a slender neck where its Adam's apple undulated with every single gulp. For a reason beyond his own understanding, the embers of a primitive desire within Tang Hong's hearts were set ablaze, his blood also seemed to possess something within it that was galloping, causing every single blood vessel inside to also become a pulsating mess.

"Are you up?"

What kind of person walks round on the street wearing clothes stained in blood?

It felt quite smooth and warm, it was a hand unlike a man's. When Tang Hong walked off, he then heard the the offer who entered whisper, "In the restaurant we found a new..." Then he heard Meng Yun's shocked voice reply, "That... that is something..."

Panic overtook him, so much so, the cup in his hand could not be held steadily. Spilling the warm water held within all over that man, and upon that singular blanket, the cup fell, while also causing both men to jump in shock.

The man smiled as he spoke. He was talking about that frigid and imposing group leader of his, yet this man regarded that icy fellow more like a child when he spoke.

Panic overtook him, so much so, the cup in his hand could not be held steadily. Spilling the warm water held within all over that man, and upon that singular blanket, the cup fell, while also causing both men to jump in shock.

Thy were at a stalemate, at least they were until another officer burst through the door. "Xiao Meng! We discovered the motive!"

In a flurry, Tang Hong yanked off the blanket from the man without thinking, using his hands to wipe the spilled water from the other man's body. The man's fair skin was surprisingly supple to the touch, it also had a smooth texture that brought Tang Hong's wiping hands to an abrupt stop. Biting his lips, he again found it hard to suppress that strange, lingering feeling.

The man had already washed up, and the handsome features on his honest face were incredibly eye-catching. He was truly a man women would be quite attracted to, well, if you'd set aside his strange posture. Tang Hong then realised something was different, causing him to ask in surprise, "Oh! Did you cut your hair?"

"...B-burn... Did you get burnt?"

"What! A motive!" The officer called Xiao Meng immediately stood up and glanced to Tang Hong to say as if nothing had happened, "You can be on your way now."

It took him awhile to realise the tone of his voice was strange.

Thy were at a stalemate, at least they were until another officer burst through the door. "Xiao Meng! We discovered the motive!"

"N-no, I didn't," the man stammered, again erupting in a blush. Tang Hong saw the man pulling the blanket back over his body, attempting to hide from his gaze. Inch by inch, that fair, supple skin still etched in traces of red was again being obscured by the covers before his eyes, and for a reason only the heavens are aware of, his hand grabbed hold of that blanket.

When it was past noon, Tang Hong made his way to the police station.

"—?" The man looked at him with startled eyes, forcing Tang Hong to immediately realise what he was doing. Tang Hong released the blanket as it was scalding hot! It had even made him jump away from the bed by a few feet. "You can go back to sleep, okay! When I'm done cooking, I'll call you! And Boss said he'll be back later this evening!"

With a smile, the man nodded and replied, "I did. Short hair feels a lot more refreshing."

He didn't dare look back as he left, and after he finished speaking, he sped off to the kitchen.

He again rolled his eyes at that officer, who still showed no reaction to his act and simply took a sip of is tea. But he also blocked Tang Hong's path to leave once more.

It felt quite smooth and warm, it was a hand unlike a man's. When Tang Hong walked off, he then heard the the offer who entered whisper, "In the restaurant we found a new..." Then he heard Meng Yun's shocked voice reply, "That... that is something..."

"What?" Startled, Tang Hong looked at the man who added in a clearer tone, "I said that is not Xiao Jiang. Xiao Jiang would never be that polite. So why would he suddenly start knocking doors?"

When it was past noon, Tang Hong made his way to the police station.

After confirming the severed head did indeed belong to his uncle, Tang Sen, the police officer led him to the reception room.

The officer: "Even though we haven't found Liu Wei as yet, we've already run the blood sample from the large bloodstain on the floor with his sample on record to conclude it does in fact belong to him. So as of now, out preliminary judgement is of this being a case of first degree murder and dismemberment with Tang Sen as the named victim and Liu as the perpetrator.

N/A

But as he stood close to that man he accidentality got a peek at the man's collar, and what he saw gave him an unexpected shock. After the man gave his thanks, he simply went on his way, but Tang Hong still stood there watching the man's retreating figure in confusion. Just now, he noticed some dark brown spots on the man's collar, and if he wasn't mistaken, those spots should be the remnants of blood. And he wasn't wrong, because it was definitely blood.

Inside, there was a young, handsome officer wearing glasses who went over the details of the incident with him. Tang Sen's head was discovered in the basement of a hotel located not far from the Nan'an district. The crime scene was a mess. Iron doors were left wide open, but there were no signs anything was stolen from the room. The bed in that room was tidy and clean, but on the iron rack in the bathroom, was a set of sheets that were changed but haven't been washed yet. Those sheets were covered in stains, stains pointing to signs of sеxual intercourse, but within that basement room, there was nothing indicating the presence of a woman. Lastly, apart from Tang Sen's decapitated head found in the refrigerator, there was also a large pool of blood discovered beside the bed.

"—?" The man looked at him with startled eyes, forcing Tang Hong to immediately realise what he was doing. Tang Hong released the blanket as it was scalding hot! The officer then added, "We tested that blood and the results showed it did not belong to your maternal uncle. We also discovered the owner of the hotel and underground room was a man named Liu Wei."

Tang Hong didn't know what more he should say either, but after looking at the now exposed pale and slender nape of that man for a good while, as if he awakened from a dream, he then made his way to the kitchen to bring that man a warm meal.

"Hold up! Liu Wei?" Tang Hong furrowed his brows in confusion, seeming as though he had heard that name before. Then after a bulb went off he added, "Oh! I remember now! He's that new famous hotshot businessman that's bee making waves in our province! Uh, so why would my uncle's head be hidden in his basement?"

"It's you?"

"So what you're saying is, it was Liu Wei that killed my uncle? But—what could be the motive?"

But as he stood close to that man he accidentality got a peek at the man's collar, and what he saw gave him an unexpected shock. After the man gave his thanks, he simply went on his way, but Tang Hong still stood there watching the man's retreating figure in confusion. Tang Hong was so furious he was practically coughing blood. Rely... on the people's police! Do I look like that ultimate goody two-shoes, Lei Feng!

Tang Hong was shocked and couldn't wrap his brain around the situation, and in his flurry, the officer then replied, "We also cannot conclude the motive for this incident, therefore, we hope you can assist us wherever possible Mr. Tang."

Tang Hong was so furious he was practically coughing blood. Rely... on the people's police! Do I look like that ultimate goody two-shoes, Lei Feng!

"M-Me? What could I possibly assist you with? I've no relationship with my uncle since I was a little kid, so I don't know him at all! As for that Mr. Liu guy, I only know his name because I saw him on the news."

"M-Me? What could I possibly assist you with? I've no relationship with my uncle since I was a little kid, so I don't know him at all! As for that Mr. Liu guy, I only know his name because I saw him on the news."

No matter how Tang Hong tried to explain it, the officer refused to let him go. He thought about it seriously over and over again but he couldn't come up with any shred of a lead. Tang Hong really had no other option, so he gave all his effort into to racking his brains even more, but he still came up with nothing. Nothing at all. Seeing the sun gradually beginning its decent in the sky, his anxiety began changing into anger. Because if his group leader came back to find him not in his apartment looking after that man called "A", his boss without out a doubt would fly off the handle, and that would mean his goose was cooked! I thought I'd be able to leave the station right after identifying the body...

After rolling his eyes at that officer, the other man just smirked and said, "Mr. Tang, please try thinking carefully once more, perhaps you can come up with some clue. Assisting the police with an investigation is a very honourable duty, so I'd like to request for you to extend just a bit of your patience."

He glared at that handsome pain in the butt of a police officer looking right back at him like prey. What're you looking at, huh! No matter how long you stare I still won't be able to come up with a thing!

When you need me, you drag me al' over and won't allow my to go; but when I'm of no use to you, you chuck me aside like garbage? What am I, a wash cloth?! Tang Hong was so pissed the top of his head was practically steaming. He couldn't help but glare at that officer as hard as he could. That all that officer surnamed Meng did was smile at him and say, "My apologies for taking up your time at the station today. If you have an issue in my methods in handling this case then how about you pass by the station another day and I'll issue an apology? My full mane is Meng Yun. Come, let's get to know each other, yes?"

Tang Hong, too, tried his best to act as if nothing had happened, again asking the man if he was awake with a smile. But the corners of his mouth were a bit stiff, causing him to lick his lips.

Who the hell would want know a plague god like you! But when Tang Hong say him stretch out his hand, he could only unwillingly outstretch his own to accept it and shake.

No matter how Tang Hong tried to explain it, the officer refused to let him go. He thought about it seriously over and over again but he couldn't come up with any shred of a lead. "Why hasn't the boss made it back as yet?"

Tang Hong rushed like hell to get back to his apartment. But when he passed by a park near his place, he ran into man with a moustache. The man held a cigarette between his lips, and seemed to be searching all around him, so when he caught sight of Tang Hong, he immediately went up to the younger fellow and asked him for a light. As for Tang Hong, despite being in a rush, he still took the time to give the moustached man a light.

After confirming the severed head did indeed belong to his uncle, Tang Sen, the police officer led him to the reception room.
