Yu Jiang had fallen asleep, but he still kept a firm hold around Yu Yanzhang's waist. But Yu Yanzhang, who was lying on his son's solid and heated chest, couldn't find the solace of sleep. That body of his that had just been engage in mad rounds of sеx like crazy, was now so drained he couldn't manage to so much as twitch.

Where could he have been when this all happened?

When he woke up again, he was met by a Liu Wei who now wore a mask of a man that was warm and gentle. A man who kissed him sweetly, held him in his arms, and carefully fed him food. A who asked him, "Is it yummy?" but whose eyes had a darkness within them, a mocking wildness that was unnervingly strange. Over and over he kept asking while Yu Yanzhang ate: "Is this meat delicious?" Chuckling giddily each time he did.

"Come on! Let's go in together!" It was the voice of a woman, one sounding quite young.

As a result, his mind churned endlessly, his thoughts becoming an utter mess. He recalled that day—that day Liu Wei had left behind the key. A forgotten key that caught his attention around three thirty that afternoon.

Why hadn't Meng Fei and He Zhi discovered him?

He spared not not even a second thought that day, immediately dragging his tired body off that bed to reach out, grab it, open the door then fled into the tunnels. The head of the tunnel led to Liu Wei's study, but there was another opening that led to the grove of the garden on the Wei's property.

Haa... what exactly were you ever expecting, huh? Te pain and despair sliced through him like daggers, carving out his heart, cutting out his lungs. Leaving one thing behind: numbness and pain, but never did one drop of blood ever pour out. With a body like this... With a life like this... How on earth could I still conjure up wild hopes of something from a beautiful young man like this?

If it really is him, I can ask him for help and finally escape this plight! Thus, hiding behind a tree, he peeked in an attempt to see the man clearly. Good god! That's Meng Fei. That really is Meng Fei! He was more mature than he was four years ago, and he was an even more handsome young man— Yu Yanzhang's brows then crinkled with a tinge of sadness. But he really is Meng Fei! Yu Yanzhang almost shouted out that man's name with all his might, still recalling that youth's mischievous smile from four years back, and the words "I will marry you" that youth had spoken to him with deep affection. It was that Meng Fei, it was really Meng Fei!

As a result, his mind churned endlessly, his thoughts becoming an utter mess. He recalled that day—that day Liu Wei had left behind the key. A forgotten key that caught his attention around three thirty that afternoon.

Even if he knew he couldn't run that far, or that he would be caught once more and dragged back to be beaten and rapеd, but ever one step taken to escape was a step closer to freedom, and being together with that kind of madman would invariably drive him to madness as well.

This is Meng Fei's voice! This was surely Meng Fei, right1?!

The sensitive He Zhi whipped her towards the direction of the noise, however, her eyes never landed on Yu Yanzhang, but on a shadowy form of white. Already curious, already scared, the moment her gaze fell on such a thing her mind had long sent out the signal to make er scream in fear. "Ghost! Ghost! Ghost! I saw it! I saw a ghost!" Startled by her screams, Meng Fei, who wanted to go forward and check out what she had seen was unfortunately held back by the scared and trembling He Zhi. By the time her calmed her down and went to look at what she had seen, there was nothing there. That white strip of the torn nightgown had also fallen into some bushes, so neither he, nor He Zhi, had noticed a thing. (As a result of this, that strip of cloth was discovered by the gardener the following day and taken to Liu Wei's wife, also Meng Fei's aunt.) While Meng Fei had believed what He Zhi had seen really was a ghost, when He Zhi calmed down and saw nothing to be seen, she thought that her own eyes had deceived her. When Meng Fei suggested they head back, he also agreed to do so. But what of Yu Yanzhang, you ask?

This is Meng Fei's voice! This was surely Meng Fei, right1?!

But, oddly enough, he actually made out of the tunnel smoothly. There was no sign of Liu Wei, no sign of that man rushing after him.

In that grove, the leaves had blocked out nearly inch of the sun so that place was covered in darkness. Yu Yanzhang struggled in frantic desperation to escape that garden, be was so close to freedom, but there was a wall behind the Wei's garden and the house in the front. There were people in that house as well, so he had no idea where he should run to! Should I jump the fence? On the other side of that wall was a sidewalk that was bustling with people. With such a ghostly appearance of his, how could he get away without a hitch while surrounded by those people? What's more, he was so far along in his pregnancy, sporting a considerably large belly, the act of climbing over that wall was another issue in itself! Oh my god! I escaped that darn basement but I have no idea what I should now do! He could practically hear Liu Wei's steps chasing after him ringing through his head at that point. His nerves were shot to such a high he swore he would faint. But just then, he heard two voices coming from beyond the garden.

Back then, Yu Yanzhang thought it must have been because that person who had called Liu Wei away must have not been someone ordinary. But who could such a person be? It took a good bit of effort to for him to open the entrance of that tunnel hidden behind a tree then poking his head out, an act which filled him with such a profound sense exaltation he felt as if he would swoon. He was free—he had really escaped! Yes, he had only gotten out of the basement, but—he had nonetheless managed to have gotten away!

The sensitive He Zhi whipped her towards the direction of the noise, however, her eyes never landed on Yu Yanzhang, but on a shadowy form of white. His heart was then overcome with pity, so much so, it bordered on the realms of utter despair. He looked on at Meng Fei and the woman who accompanied into the grove hand in hand. Oh. He noticed the woman beside him was quite young and pretty, also acting rather spoiled towards Meng Fei. Meng Fei also seemed to be helpless towards he actions, and indulged her as well. The more he looked at them, the more his heart tightened. Ah, how could I possibly dream of Meng Fei remembering me? Those words he told me back them were probably also just made as an unintended joke... Maybe he never took me seriously to begin with. It was probably all just because of curiosity mixed with a hint of sympathy. Feelings making him want to hold the intriguing dual-sexed body of the male governor, and the pitiful father who was always cruelly violated by his own son...

Emerging from his trance, he noticed that Meng Fei and female companion were gradually approaching, therefore in a panic, he thought to hide, and wanted to fade into a thicket further away. He was quiet, not wanting to make a sound as he left, but that weakened body of his dared to not listen and had accidentality stepped on a twig while his nightgown got caught on a branch.

"What do you want to go in there for? Aren't you scared of ghosts?" This was spoken in response by a man a rather young man, but it was this voice voice that made Yu Yanzhang not dare believe what was being heard by his own ears, and spurred his heart into leaping madly. Back then, he really felt as though that voice was familiar, but he couldn't fathom the odds of such a coincidence coming to be.

I could still remember him after these years, but could he have already forgotten about me? On the verge of shouting that man's name repeatedly, a sudden attack of morning sickness made his head spin, forcing him to gasp for breath while steadying himself on a tree. But what this act did more than anything, was remind him of the current condition he was in. An ugly, unsightly, absurd man with a pregnant belly. A man with long messy hair, a human but not a human, a ghost but not a ghost... How could he possibly ask Meng Fei to save him looking like this? How could he ask that handsome, that elegant schoolmate of his son to save him—how could he...

But those thoughts were all swept aside when he saw the boiling rage in Liu Wei's eyes, and his fang like teeth exposed themselves as if he was about to kill a person. Terror, panic, tire, sorrow... all these emotions struck him to the point his weakened body could barely stay upright. He fainted immediately, and was carried back to that basement in Liu Wei's arms. But unlike expected, this time, Liu Wei did not beat him savagely. All he did was gently caress Yu Yanzhang's belly and said with a dark expression, "I'm not beating you this time for the sake of you being pregnant with my son." But this did not mean he gave up punishing him with cruel treatment and rаpe. Though, after being dragged back to the basement, despite his panic, Yu Yanzhang also felt that there something different in the atmosphere of that room than it had been prior. But before he could figure out what it was, he had again fainted, as always, unable to withstand the brutality of Liu Wei.

He had been focused Meng Fei and the woman beside him, too focussed on that couple, that he hadn't noticed when it was Liu Wei had chased after him down the tunnel and made it as far as to stand right behind him!
