Initially, Yu Yanzhang had felt the flavour of that meat was indeed strange. It was a bit tart but carried an exotic kind of sweetness. It was frankly unlike any other kind of meat he had eaten.

Pressing a hand against Liu Wei's chest, and vigilantly staring Liu Wei in the eyes, Yu Yanzhang caught sight of sadness, of pain, dwelling within those eyes. The moment Yu Yanzhang had spoken, a sudden crying yet smiling expression had formed on Liu Wei's face.

When he awoke, Liu Wei was gone.

The one lying there was his other son, Tang Hong. A boy who filled his eyes with affection as he looked at him, but with that there was also a surging of sorrow once he recalled that boy had no way to recognize him.

He also never thought much of it.

Quaking like a leaf, Yu Yanzhang tried to break free of Liu Wei's hold. And while he did, his horror struck gaze noticed the clothes smeared in dust, and the dried up blood stain on Liu Wei's collar. He's not a ghost... he's a person... Did this man also manage to escape death's doorstep in the nick of time?

Back then, Liu Wei had smiled sweetly. That tall, handsome man with that smile on his face then calmly walked over to close the metal doors. Then returned to gently absorb Yu Yanzhang into his embrace.

I remember the note Meng Zhaoxiong slipped to me, along with the warmth of his hand still soaked with sweat.

Besides, due to his pregnancy, exhaustion and lack of appetite made him unable to eat much either. He left more than half of the soup in the bowl, and watched as Liu Wei placed those leftovers in the fridge.

It was then that Yu Yanzhang suddenly understood who it was that phoned Liu Wei earlier.

Yes, a fridge. A fridge Yu Yanzhang had no idea when it was brought into that room, but just a day ago, there was none there.

I remember Liu Wei turning his back as the class monitor to spit nasty words towards me. Back then, he had sat in the row in from of me, and told with disdain, "You're such a slυt."

"Yanzhang, are you alright? Are you okay?" That man first worriedly caressed Yu Yanzhang's blood drained face, then turned his nervous gaze towards Yu Yanzhang's pregnant belly.

All of him paralysed.

That night, again, he fell asleep in Liu Wei's arms.

Liu Wei's constant, manic demand of his body and mind had left him numb and exhausted, and after the man was done, he had passed out.

Liu Wei's constant, manic demand of his body and mind had left him numb and exhausted, and after the man was done, he had passed out.

"Huh?" Hearing his words, Yu Yanzhang looked down at the man kneeling before him, while tears streamed down his face, with an expression that one could only describe as completely awestruck.

He felt nothing.

Yu Yanzhang's vigilance increased, but what followed was Liu Wei releasing him. But more shocking than that, was wat happened after: Liu Wei had flopped down before him and was now on his knees!

It's my fault too! I killed someone in such a panic that I never confirmed it before running off!

Dread made Yu Yanzhang's body tremble uncontrollably, he couldn't break free of Liu Wei. Despite that man looking weak and dispirited, the power in his hold was still unexpectedly strong.

All of him paralysed.

He was one of the three men who enslaved him with those always calm, always cruel expression of his.

All of him stagnant.

That night, again, he fell asleep in Liu Wei's arms.

He screamed in pure hysteria. His heart was filled with horror that resembled a black hole of madness. His gaze was nothing short of deranged as they fell upon a thick copper vase sitting on the nightstand, then, without hesitation, Yu Yanzhang grabbed it and smashed it over Liu Wei's head.

Like coals being torched by flames, it must surly be pained, thirsting, fearful, and wishing to flee... but what could it do to solve such a scenario? That was simply its destiny.

Like coals being torched by flames, it must surly be pained, thirsting, fearful, and wishing to flee... but what could it do to solve such a scenario? That was simply its destiny.

I still how we were back then, we were all so young.

Yu Yanzhang, having his body be intertwined with Yu Jiang all night now felt sticky all over, especially between is legs. What's more, everything Yu Jiang had released into his body, still kept its heats as his flowed out of him.

It is true, this man is a lunatic. But perhaps there was also part of him that genuinely loved me. If one would ever dare call this kind of psychotic persistence; and twisted, warped set of emotions something like love.

The next next arrived.

But in response to these questions, Yu Yanzhang had said nothing, all that existed was pure terror in his eyes as he glared at the man who appeared before him, while his mouth lay fully agape as he struggled to breathe. Mad pounding exploded in his chest—his body was frozen stiff! All he wanted to do was scream his soul out—but he also wanted with all his might to never let Yu Jiang and Tang Hong know.

It was a rather uncomfortable feeling, so carefully detangling his son's limbs from his body, he snuck from the bed quietly.

He felt nothing.

When he awoke, Liu Wei was gone.

That's the same bowl Liu Wei fed me from yesterday—the same bowl he held as he giddily asked me "is it yummy" when I ate that meat...

Not holding onto much hope, he shook the iron doors ans it was indeed thoroughly locked.

Back then, Yu Yanzhang smelled the faint traces of tobacco on Liu Wei, along with his hair spray and his expensive cologne.

Like coals being torched by flames, it must surly be pained, thirsting, fearful, and wishing to flee... but what could it do to solve such a scenario? That was simply its destiny.

They had seen me looking at Meng Zhaoxiong, they had beaten me cruelly, they dragged me back to their house, and then they savagely rаped me.

Sighing, a pang of hunger alerted him, so he went to find something to eat.

He isn't visibly agitated, he must have completely and utterly fallen off the edge of sanity.

He recalled the meat Liu Wei had fed him the day before, so he made his way over to the fridge.

"Yanzhang, Yanzhang...!" He knelt before Yu Yanzhang mumbling before choking on sobs. Yu Yanzhang was stupefied, his nervous gaze fluttering all around before returning to the socking sight of kneeing Liu Wei when he saw there was no one else there. Was this person really Liu Wei? Or was it just his body with another person's soul inside?

He didn't dare turn on the lights, fearing he would rouse Tang Hong from his restful slumber, so he felt his way to the bathroom in the dark. Still tired, he covered his mouth while he yawned and slowly made his way out living room in silence, never noticing that there was also a pair of shocked eyes belonging to the man who had almost screamed out behind him.

Still tired, he covered his mouth while he yawned and slowly made his way out living room in silence, never noticing that there was also a pair of shocked eyes belonging to the man who had almost screamed out behind him.

For all those years, all those emotions he endured and had suppressed in the instant that refrigerator door was opened had finally all come crashing down within him.

iana: sometimes I wonder how different his life would be if he had walked into the McDonald's that day. I'm not saying sht wouldn't have happened, I'm just saying it might not have been this bad. Liu Wei got 'Cry Me a River' playing in my head. The audacity of this btch.

"L-L-Liu Wei..." Yu Yanzhang panted, pressing his voice down as he spoke. "Let-let go of me this instant. If you don't, I swear to god I will yell and call someone here!"

He recalled the meat Liu Wei had fed him the day before, so he made his way over to the fridge.

A head—a pale, ghastly looking head was sitting on the shelf of the fridge staring right back at him.

For a moment, Yu Yanzhang stared at sofa. Using the darkness as a cover, he looked at the blurry outline of of the person sleeping there, of the snoring youth.

It had no life. It was long dead. Its lifeless skin clung over the dark flesh exposed beneath it. Its mouth crusted with the remnants of dried blood at its corners. While in the bottom trays of of the fridge, each compartment was stuffed full of severed human body parts: arms, thighs, torso... Then to the very bottom of that fridge, sat a bowl of half eaten soup.

Only after experiencing so many dark and chaotic days does he finally realise the beauty of an ordinary life.

These thoughts only made the fear inside of Yu Yanzhang grow greater as he worried: ...am I going to be dragged back to the basement by this man again? Am I going to go back to living such a horrific and despair ridden life like some rat trapped in a hole—no! I'm never going back!

Not holding onto much hope, he shook the iron doors ans it was indeed thoroughly locked.

That's the same bowl Liu Wei fed me from yesterday—the same bowl he held as he giddily asked me "is it yummy" when I ate that meat...

Or perhaps... this man had simply never been normal to begin with. This man, who constantly held him, who forced him to always birth his children, in the past four years had always been a complete and utterly deranged lunatic through and through!

This means nothing. Yeah, this doesn't mean anything at all!

A head—a pale, ghastly looking head was sitting on the shelf of the fridge staring right back at him.

I still how we were back then, we were all so young.

From that moment onwards, in Yu Yanzhang's life, apart from those related to the object of his inferiority complex, a whole host of new fears had begun to emerge.

What mattered the most most right then was that head being one Yu Yanzhang had known. Not only did he know that person, one could describe them as close. Close, as close as can be! Close enough to have once been put into a state of terror. Close enough to know his laugh, close enough to know his moans, close enough to know his wrath, and even his brutality.

Without trying to place blame, he figured the two must have had a fight and Liu Wei had killed Tang Sen without hesitation. Thatt was the exactly the type of insane and cruel bastard he was.

But—I never expected I didn't bash his head in and kill him that day! What's more, the current Liu Wei before him, was a haggard man whose complexion looked wan. The wound on his head also wasn't properly bandaged, and it was without a doubt quite severe. Where had that still handsome, straight-laced, and well dressed wealthy man gone?

He didn't dare turn on the lights, fearing he would rouse Tang Hong from his restful slumber, so he felt his way to the bathroom in the dark. Still tired, he covered his mouth while he yawned and slowly made his way out living room in silence, never noticing that there was also a pair of shocked eyes belonging to the man who had almost screamed out behind him.

Tang Sen—...

A person you devote an extreme amount of attention towards, oftentimes, is not because you love them, but because you loathe them, and do so passionately. So, towards Tang Sen, every time Yu Yanzhang thought of him, it was such loathing feelings that flowed through him.

Such a realisation, had driven Yu Yanzhang into a state complete madness.

I've always thought... I had always thought... that maybe if we could all start over again that maybe our lives would've gotten entangled in a different way. Maybe if we could've all started over from... from those high school days we...

His memories were like blooming sprays of spurting blood, and every chop made by that hatchet caused layer upon layer to swirl forth with pain, with sorrow, and with desolation.

How young were we back then? Now we've all gotten so old!

He also never thought much of it.

It was then that Yu Yanzhang suddenly understood who it was that phoned Liu Wei earlier.

...all things he could never forget, no way to erase them.

I've always thought... I had always thought... that maybe if we could all start over again that maybe our lives would've gotten entangled in a different way. Maybe if we could've all started over from... from those high school days we...

I remember the note Meng Zhaoxiong slipped to me, along with the warmth of his hand still soaked with sweat.

I still how we were back then, we were all so young.

For him, there was no heaven, and all e would know was hell. His hell had originally only possessed two devils, but once he entered university, they had become three.

I was shy, introverted and just another ordinary student. Tang Sen was the clever and talented student committee member. Liu Wei was the capable and haughty class monitor... there... there was also Meng Zhaoxiong. That strong-bodied enthusiastic guy that was the head of the sports committee.

All of him paralysed.

He felt nothing.

The only thing that stopped him as he screeched in a trance was the hand that sealed over his lips from behind him, hand belonging to Liu Wei that came up behind him only god knows when.

I still remember Meng Zhaoxiong, my desk-mate at the time, arguing with Tang Sen for my sake.

Upon standing, he felt the waves of exhaustion attack his body like a mist. He struggled to put on his pyjamas and slippers before heading to the washroom, passing through the living room which was still quite dark.

Back then, he stared dazedly at the chiselled and handsome features of Liu Wei's face. Then, in an instant, he was hit with the suspicion that perhaps this man he spent the past four years sharing a bed with, had become a lunatic without him ever realising it.

In a burst of dizziness, he recalled the youth from all those years back, the handsome student committee member—Tang Sen! Tang Sen! No matter how much he hated him, or how ruthlessly he demanded his mind, body and soul, he—even to the depths of his soul, Yu Yanzhang never wished for him to die in such a way. For him to be chopped up into pieces!

I remember nervously hiding behind the bookstore as I anxiously watched Meng Zhaoxiong waiting for me at the entrance of that McDonald's.

After that... Was it then that our fates started going awry? It was right then, in that instant where I had run into Liu Wei and Tang Sen. They were both still boys at the time, but they had already possessed the mature bodies of grown men.

After that... Was it then that our fates started going awry? It was right then, in that instant where I had run into Liu Wei and Tang Sen. They were both still boys at the time, but they had already possessed the mature bodies of grown men.

But the man currently before him was a Liu Wei who was at his lowest, a Liu Wei who was no different than a homeless man on the streets. Right then, it seemed as though even the spirit dwelling inside him had changed. That was now hugging him tightly, not saying a single word, while repeatedly caressing his head, gently stroking his body with dulled eyes that were no longer merciless and shrewd, but were instead filled with a silent pity.

They had seen me looking at Meng Zhaoxiong, they had beaten me cruelly, they dragged me back to their house, and then they savagely rаped me.

Like coals being torched by flames, it must surly be pained, thirsting, fearful, and wishing to flee... but what could it do to solve such a scenario? That was simply its destiny.

"Aaaaaaahhhh...!

From that moment onwards, in Yu Yanzhang's life, apart from those related to the object of his inferiority complex, a whole host of new fears had begun to emerge.

"Yanzhang, let me help you twist it." This familiar male voice, this voice that lightly chimed from behind him, for Yu Yanzhang, was no different from a thunderous roar!

For him, there was no heaven, and all e would know was hell. His hell had originally only possessed two devils, but once he entered university, they had become three.

Not holding onto much hope, he shook the iron doors ans it was indeed thoroughly locked.

iana: sometimes I wonder how different his life would be if he had walked into the McDonald's that day. I'm not saying sht wouldn't have happened, I'm just saying it might not have been this bad. Liu Wei got 'Cry Me a River' playing in my head. The audacity of this btch.

His past... layer by layer... bit by bit... drop by drop...

Tang Sen—...

"Aaaaaaahhhh...!

It is true, this man is a lunatic. But perhaps there was also part of him that genuinely loved me. If one would ever dare call this kind of psychotic persistence; and twisted, warped set of emotions something like love.

...all things he could never forget, no way to erase them.

"—!" Yu Jiang stirred in his sleep, tightening his already firm grasp on his waist even further.

They're like countless sown in the field of his mind, buried under the earth for ages that spring to life whenever a strong wind happens to blow.

I still remember Meng Zhaoxiong, my desk-mate at the time, arguing with Tang Sen for my sake.

Compared to loving someone, the feeling of hatred one holds towards a person are rooted far more deeply.

A gust of wind, heat, cold—all are worthy for us to savour and always treasure.

A person you devote an extreme amount of attention towards, oftentimes, is not because you love them, but because you loathe them, and do so passionately. So, towards Tang Sen, every time Yu Yanzhang thought of him, it was such loathing feelings that flowed through him.

His past... layer by layer... bit by bit... drop by drop...

It was then that Yu Yanzhang suddenly understood who it was that phoned Liu Wei earlier.

So now, the wide eyed Yu Yanzhang could not fall back asleep again.

He was one of the three men who enslaved him with those always calm, always cruel expression of his.

When he arrived in the bathroom, his arms were so weak and sore it was struggle to even turn the on the tap. Then, after he was done with a quick shower, Yu Yanzhang then went on to take a dash of cold water to the face in an attempt to wake himself up. As he moved to turn off the water, the tap wouldn't tighten. No matter how hard he tried, a trickle of water still leaked out. Gosh, this faucet is really hard to twist.

But never, never, did Yu Yanzhang expect that expression would again be before his own eyes in such a way.

N/A

In a burst of dizziness, he recalled the youth from all those years back, the handsome student committee member—Tang Sen! Tang Sen! No matter how much he hated him, or how ruthlessly he demanded his mind, body and soul, he—even to the depths of his soul, Yu Yanzhang never wished for him to die in such a way. For him to be chopped up into pieces!

A sudden splattering of an inexplicable sense of timidity exploded witin Yu Yanzhang's heart. He stared at those eyes of Liu Wei's, wondering if that man would seek out retribution... if this man was planning to kill him as well. I mercilessly tried to bash his head in with the intent to kill, and even tough he didn't die, now that he caught me yet again, he must surely feel nothing but pure rage towards me.

I've always thought... I had always thought... that maybe if we could all start over again that maybe our lives would've gotten entangled in a different way. Maybe if we could've all started over from... from those high school days we...

So now, the wide eyed Yu Yanzhang could not fall back asleep again.

Regardless if it's love, or hatred, doesn't the object of those emotions have to be living in this world so those feelings can continue?

While surrounded in the brilliant rays of the sun, even the most refreshed of bodies, will break out in cold sweats when recalling the nightmares they had under the dark of night.

It was then that Yu Yanzhang suddenly understood who it was that phoned Liu Wei earlier.

...all things he could never forget, no way to erase them.

Tang Sen's head, torso and limbs had now provoked Yu Yanzhang's mind which had long been in a teetering of full collapse into complete destruction. Yu Yanzhang screamed, he bawled his lungs out in abject terror.

All of him stagnant.

These thoughts only made the fear inside of Yu Yanzhang grow greater as he worried: ...am I going to be dragged back to the basement by this man again? Am I going to go back to living such a horrific and despair ridden life like some rat trapped in a hole—no! I'm never going back!

"Yanzhang, I beg you, please give birth to my child. Please... please..."

Sighing, a pang of hunger alerted him, so he went to find something to eat.

He asked these questions so gently. He kissed Yu Yanzhang on his gaunt cheeks so tenderly. He used his hand to caress Yu Yanzhang's swollen belly so lovingly.

Yu Yanzhang, having his body be intertwined with Yu Jiang all night now felt sticky all over, especially between is legs. What's more, everything Yu Jiang had released into his body, still kept its heats as his flowed out of him.

"L-L-Liu Wei..." Yu Yanzhang panted, pressing his voice down as he spoke. "Let-let go of me this instant. If you don't, I swear to god I will yell and call someone here!"

Tang Sen—...

He wanted to break away from Liu Wei's hold, he needed to break free. And once more, he worked his lungs to the fullest to scream! "Yu Yanzhang, what are doing?!" Liu Wei used his strength to tighten his hold against him. But being forced to look into that man's dark eyes had only pushed Yu Yanzhang's crazed and shattered will to new heights.

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: Part 1

These thoughts only made the fear inside of Yu Yanzhang grow greater as he worried: ...am I going to be dragged back to the basement by this man again? Am I going to go back to living such a horrific and despair ridden life like some rat trapped in a hole—no! I'm never going back!

That story had come already come to an end, and now, recalling such events of the past always left a lingering fear in his heart.

"L-L-Liu Wei..." Yu Yanzhang panted, pressing his voice down as he spoke. "Let-let go of me this instant. If you don't, I swear to god I will yell and call someone here!"

Besides, due to his pregnancy, exhaustion and lack of appetite made him unable to eat much either. He left more than half of the soup in the bowl, and watched as Liu Wei placed those leftovers in the fridge.

All of him paralysed.

While surrounded in the brilliant rays of the sun, even the most refreshed of bodies, will break out in cold sweats when recalling the nightmares they had under the dark of night.

"—!" Yu Jiang stirred in his sleep, tightening his already firm grasp on his waist even further.

Ah... another has come, a new day.

So now, the wide eyed Yu Yanzhang could not fall back asleep again.

His eyes wandered to the curtains gently floating in the breeze from night's breeze. Then through the cracks of the gaps of the billowing fabric, he saw that dawn had come, and with it, the fresh morning breeze that gently caressed his face.

"Aaaaaaahhhh...!

Ah... another has come, a new day.

"Let me go! Get the hell off me!" Yu Yanzhang struggled with all his might, despite not raising his voice to scream. His words weren't loud, but they were low and feral, like the growls of a stray cat whose fur stood on its end. A pair of glaring eyes, too, were fixed on Liu Wei, eyes that showed Yu Yanzhang's resolution in his next action that if that man dared to drag im back by force, he really would scream—

Back then, he stared dazedly at the chiselled and handsome features of Liu Wei's face. Then, in an instant, he was hit with the suspicion that perhaps this man he spent the past four years sharing a bed with, had become a lunatic without him ever realising it.

He asked these questions so gently. He kissed Yu Yanzhang on his gaunt cheeks so tenderly. He used his hand to caress Yu Yanzhang's swollen belly so lovingly.

Only after experiencing so many dark and chaotic days does he finally realise the beauty of an ordinary life.

How on earth could Liu Wei be crying? How could this ever be that man who had such a tenacious and merciless will?

Or perhaps... this man had simply never been normal to begin with. This man, who constantly held him, who forced him to always birth his children, in the past four years had always been a complete and utterly deranged lunatic through and through!

Yu Yanzhang, having his body be intertwined with Yu Jiang all night now felt sticky all over, especially between is legs. What's more, everything Yu Jiang had released into his body, still kept its heats as his flowed out of him.

The one lying there was his other son, Tang Hong. A boy who filled his eyes with affection as he looked at him, but with that there was also a surging of sorrow once he recalled that boy had no way to recognize him.

It was a rather uncomfortable feeling, so carefully detangling his son's limbs from his body, he snuck from the bed quietly.

He asked these questions so gently. He kissed Yu Yanzhang on his gaunt cheeks so tenderly. He used his hand to caress Yu Yanzhang's swollen belly so lovingly.

But in response to these questions, Yu Yanzhang had said nothing, all that existed was pure terror in his eyes as he glared at the man who appeared before him, while his mouth lay fully agape as he struggled to breathe. Mad pounding exploded in his chest—his body was frozen stiff! All he wanted to do was scream his soul out—but he also wanted with all his might to never let Yu Jiang and Tang Hong know.

...all things he could never forget, no way to erase them.

Upon standing, he felt the waves of exhaustion attack his body like a mist. He struggled to put on his pyjamas and slippers before heading to the washroom, passing through the living room which was still quite dark.

Compared to loving someone, the feeling of hatred one holds towards a person are rooted far more deeply.

"Yanzhang, are you alright? Are you okay?" That man first worriedly caressed Yu Yanzhang's blood drained face, then turned his nervous gaze towards Yu Yanzhang's pregnant belly.

It is true, this man is a lunatic. But perhaps there was also part of him that genuinely loved me. If one would ever dare call this kind of psychotic persistence; and twisted, warped set of emotions something like love.

For a moment, Yu Yanzhang stared at sofa. Using the darkness as a cover, he looked at the blurry outline of of the person sleeping there, of the snoring youth.

Besides, due to his pregnancy, exhaustion and lack of appetite made him unable to eat much either. He left more than half of the soup in the bowl, and watched as Liu Wei placed those leftovers in the fridge.

The one lying there was his other son, Tang Hong. A boy who filled his eyes with affection as he looked at him, but with that there was also a surging of sorrow once he recalled that boy had no way to recognize him.

The next next arrived.

Tang Sen—...

Only after experiencing so many dark and chaotic days does he finally realise the beauty of an ordinary life.

I was shy, introverted and just another ordinary student. Tang Sen was the clever and talented student committee member. Liu Wei was the capable and haughty class monitor... there... there was also Meng Zhaoxiong. That strong-bodied enthusiastic guy that was the head of the sports committee.

Such a realisation, had driven Yu Yanzhang into a state complete madness.

He was so flustered in his attempt to close it, he hadn't realised someone had opened the behind him and quietly walked in.

Yes, a fridge. A fridge Yu Yanzhang had no idea when it was brought into that room, but just a day ago, there was none there.

"Yanzhang, let me help you twist it." This familiar male voice, this voice that lightly chimed from behind him, for Yu Yanzhang, was no different from a thunderous roar!

It was a rather uncomfortable feeling, so carefully detangling his son's limbs from his body, he snuck from the bed quietly.

He practically jumped out his skin in fright, and the slippery bathroom floor made him almost fall down, but he swiftly caught within Liu Wei's panicked embrace.

They had seen me looking at Meng Zhaoxiong, they had beaten me cruelly, they dragged me back to their house, and then they savagely rаped me.

After that... Was it then that our fates started going awry? It was right then, in that instant where I had run into Liu Wei and Tang Sen. They were both still boys at the time, but they had already possessed the mature bodies of grown men.

"Yanzhang, are you alright? Are you okay?" That man first worriedly caressed Yu Yanzhang's blood drained face, then turned his nervous gaze towards Yu Yanzhang's pregnant belly.

"Yanzhang, I beg you, please give birth to my child. Please... please..."

It was then that Yu Yanzhang suddenly understood who it was that phoned Liu Wei earlier.

"Babe, did you sleep well? Tell me, what would you like to eat today, hm?"

"Y-y-you—... W-w-here d-d-did y-you c-come f-from? A-are you a g-ghost?!"

It is true, this man is a lunatic. But perhaps there was also part of him that genuinely loved me. If one would ever dare call this kind of psychotic persistence; and twisted, warped set of emotions something like love.

It's my fault too! I killed someone in such a panic that I never confirmed it before running off!

I've always thought... I had always thought... that maybe if we could all start over again that maybe our lives would've gotten entangled in a different way. Maybe if we could've all started over from... from those high school days we...

These thoughts only made the fear inside of Yu Yanzhang grow greater as he worried: ...am I going to be dragged back to the basement by this man again? Am I going to go back to living such a horrific and despair ridden life like some rat trapped in a hole—no! I'm never going back!

But never, never, did Yu Yanzhang expect that expression would again be before his own eyes in such a way.

Yu Yanzhang, having his body be intertwined with Yu Jiang all night now felt sticky all over, especially between is legs. What's more, everything Yu Jiang had released into his body, still kept its heats as his flowed out of him.

He would scream with everything he got!

"Let me go! Get the hell off me!" Yu Yanzhang struggled with all his might, despite not raising his voice to scream. A pair of glaring eyes, too, were fixed on Liu Wei, eyes that showed Yu Yanzhang's resolution in his next action that if that man dared to drag im back by force, he really would scream—

How young were we back then? Now we've all gotten so old!

But in response to these questions, Yu Yanzhang had said nothing, all that existed was pure terror in his eyes as he glared at the man who appeared before him, while his mouth lay fully agape as he struggled to breathe. "L-L-Liu Wei..." Yu Yanzhang panted, pressing his voice down as he spoke. "Let-let go of me this instant. If you don't, I swear to god I will yell and call someone here!"

Only after experiencing so many dark and chaotic days does he finally realise the beauty of an ordinary life.

It doesn't matter one damn bit if Yu Jiang and Tang Hong find out! I'm not going back—I'm not going to relive those dark days again!

He recalled the meat Liu Wei had fed him the day before, so he made his way over to the fridge.

But—I never expected I didn't bash his head in and kill him that day! What's more, the current Liu Wei before him, was a haggard man whose complexion looked wan. "Yanzhang, let me help you twist it." This familiar male voice, this voice that lightly chimed from behind him, for Yu Yanzhang, was no different from a thunderous roar!

Yu Yanzhang's vigilance increased, but what followed was Liu Wei releasing him. But more shocking than that, was wat happened after: Liu Wei had flopped down before him and was now on his knees!

Sighing, a pang of hunger alerted him, so he went to find something to eat.

It is true, this man is a lunatic. But perhaps there was also part of him that genuinely loved me. If one would ever dare call this kind of psychotic persistence; and twisted, warped set of emotions something like love.

"L-L-Liu Wei..." Yu Yanzhang panted, pressing his voice down as he spoke. "Let-let go of me this instant. If you don't, I swear to god I will yell and call someone here!"

So now, the wide eyed Yu Yanzhang could not fall back asleep again.

His eyes wandered to the curtains gently floating in the breeze from night's breeze. Then through the cracks of the gaps of the billowing fabric, he saw that dawn had come, and with it, the fresh morning breeze that gently caressed his face.

Or perhaps... this man had simply never been normal to begin with. This man, who constantly held him, who forced him to always birth his children, in the past four years had always been a complete and utterly deranged lunatic through and through!

Initially, Yu Yanzhang had felt the flavour of that meat was indeed strange. It was a bit tart but carried an exotic kind of sweetness. It was frankly unlike any other kind of meat he had eaten.

He isn't visibly agitated, he must have completely and utterly fallen off the edge of sanity.

Dread made Yu Yanzhang's body tremble uncontrollably, he couldn't break free of Liu Wei. Despite that man looking weak and dispirited, the power in his hold was still unexpectedly strong.

These thoughts only made the fear inside of Yu Yanzhang grow greater as he worried: ...am I going to be dragged back to the basement by this man again? Am I going to go back to living such a horrific and despair ridden life like some rat trapped in a hole—no! I'm never going back!

This means nothing. Yeah, this doesn't mean anything at all!

Dread made Yu Yanzhang's body tremble uncontrollably, he couldn't break free of Liu Wei. Despite that man looking weak and dispirited, the power in his hold was still unexpectedly strong.

That story had come already come to an end, and now, recalling such events of the past always left a lingering fear in his heart.

He recalled the meat Liu Wei had fed him the day before, so he made his way over to the fridge.

"Y-y-you—... W-w-here d-d-did y-you c-come f-from? A-are you a g-ghost?!"

"L-L-Liu Wei..." Yu Yanzhang panted, pressing his voice down as he spoke. "Let-let go of me this instant. If you don't, I swear to god I will yell and call someone here!"

For all those years, all those emotions he endured and had suppressed in the instant that refrigerator door was opened had finally all come crashing down within him.

Back then, Liu Wei had smiled sweetly. That tall, handsome man with that smile on his face then calmly walked over to close the metal doors. Then returned to gently absorb Yu Yanzhang into his embrace.

Yu Yanzhang's vigilance increased, but what followed was Liu Wei releasing him. But more shocking than that, was wat happened after: Liu Wei had flopped down before him and was now on his knees!

When he awoke, Liu Wei was gone.

He recalled the meat Liu Wei had fed him the day before, so he made his way over to the fridge.

Initially, Yu Yanzhang had felt the flavour of that meat was indeed strange. It was a bit tart but carried an exotic kind of sweetness. It was frankly unlike any other kind of meat he had eaten.

He practically jumped out his skin in fright, and the slippery bathroom floor made him almost fall down, but he swiftly caught within Liu Wei's panicked embrace.

"Yanzhang, are you alright? Are you okay?" That man first worriedly caressed Yu Yanzhang's blood drained face, then turned his nervous gaze towards Yu Yanzhang's pregnant belly.

How on earth could Liu Wei be crying? How could this ever be that man who had such a tenacious and merciless will?

So now, the wide eyed Yu Yanzhang could not fall back asleep again.

"Yanzhang, I beg you, please give birth to my child. Please... please..."

Initially, Yu Yanzhang had felt the flavour of that meat was indeed strange. It was a bit tart but carried an exotic kind of sweetness. It was frankly unlike any other kind of meat he had eaten.

"Huh?" Hearing his words, Yu Yanzhang looked down at the man kneeling before him, while tears streamed down his face, with an expression that one could only describe as completely awestruck.

He was so flustered in his attempt to close it, he hadn't realised someone had opened the behind him and quietly walked in.

"—!" Yu Jiang stirred in his sleep, tightening his already firm grasp on his waist even further.

Regardless if it's love, or hatred, doesn't the object of those emotions have to be living in this world so those feelings can continue?
